The hotel Machiavelli Palace is located at the beginning of Via Nazionale and it is just a few hundred metres walking distance away from the S.Maria Novella railway station. The hotel is an ex-convent, which has been completely renovated in 1990 with some lovely old wood, carved ceilings and typical Florentine furniture and frescoes. It offers, however, all the comforts of a modern hotel in the historical centre of the city. A few steps away from the straw market, Medicines chapels (100 metres), Palazzo dei Congressi.
